Wow! This is going to take a while

A lot of time has gone by since my introductory post. No more messing around. I am going to try and post more frequently because before I know it, my deadline will be here and I have organized and documented ZERO cards.

I have created a google spreadsheet to keep track of the cards.

So far in cataloging these initial cards, I am wondering why I purchased some of these brands. Fleer Splendid Splinters? I guess I though the name was cool. As I get into the other sports, I will be creating google spreadsheets for those too.

I hope in future posts to add more scans of the cards but right now, we will go with quantity over quality.

BTW, if anyone is interested in any of these cards they see, drop me a note and we can work something out.

Here we go!!!

The Background:

Over the years I have accumulated thousands of sports cards. For the most part they are sitting unorganized in card storage boxes, dresser drawers, bookshelves, etc...

A couple of weeks ago, I agreed to watch the movie Julie and Julia with my wife. As we watched the movie, an idea popped into my head.

As Julie, over 365 days, decided to cook all the recipes in Julia Child's book, "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" and blogging about it, I could start a project to organize my sport cards.

The project:

In one year, organize all of my sports cards and blog about it.

And away we we go....
